Day Camp Youth Workers

Position Summary 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Summer Camp Counsellor. This position is a fixed term (8 weeks) Full-time position, Working Monday-Friday. This position will employ fun, energetic, outgoing students to not only support our program, but will also be positive, enthusiastic and engaging role model in the lives of the children we support. The Day Camp Counsellor will report to the Day Camp Coordinator.

Day Camp Coordinator

Position Summary 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Summer Camp Coordinator. This position is a fixed term (8 weeks) Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, operation and support of programs ensuring their effective and cohesive operation on a day-to-day basis. The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for the training, support and supervision of camp staff and children. The Summer Camp Coordinator will report to the Executive Director.

Custodian

Position Summary

 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Custodian. This position is a part-time position (4.5 hours a day) 22.5 hours per week.

 



Facilities Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Facilities Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time position. The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the activities involved in the efficient operations of the Conayt Friendship Society’s Housing program.  S/he provides leadership and supervision to program employees and service contractors. S/he also ensures the safety and protection of the tenant’s rights and the organization’s assets are always respected and secured. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Housing Manager ensures the Housing program remains efficient, effective, and accountable to the Society’s Membership and Board of Directors, funding partners, and stakeholders.


Aboriginal Head Start Early Childhood Educator

Position Summary

 

This position requires the ability to program plan to provide a culturally inclusive program that focuses on whole child development as well as offer positive child guidance techniques and supervision within the AHS framework.

 

You will be working with the coordinator as well the Lead ECE to assist in classes of up to 16 children at a time to deliver a structured and dynamic program. It will involve being attentive to children’s needs but having a gentle but firm attitude to help guide children through a learning and developmental process.

Finance Manager

 

Position Summary

 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Finance Manager. The Finance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the financial systems and services. S/he is to provide leadership and supervision to the finance office employee/s.

 

Coordinates the annual audit for accounts. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager ensures the financial and administrative practices remain efficient, effective, and accountable to the Society’s Membership and Board of Directors, funding partners and stakeholders. 



On-Call Bus Driver

Position Summary

 

Conayt Friendship Society is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for the position of On-Call Bus Driver.  The bus driver operates the bus to transport Conayt Friendship Society’s Members and staff to and from destination planned by the organization. Their main duties are to transport members and staff, maintain their safety and assist all passengers.
